First Semester School Supplies

Ms. Zoe’s Class

 

Please have these supplies labeled with your name in school by September 10:

  • 1 backpack or bag for taking items to and from school daily
  • 1 Plastic water bottle refilled with water every day! **
    • (we are not able to have bottled water in the classrooms anymore)
  • 5 one subject (wide ruled) spiral bound notebooks – not CVS brand
  • 1 spiral bound graph paper notebook (quadrille ruled) – not CVS brand
  • 1 heavy duty plastic portfolio folder for Thursday distribution **
  • 3 plastic portfolio folders with 3 prongs for holding loose leaf paper
  • 1 sketch pad
  • 1 mini composition book (4.5”x3.5” ruled) for spelling work
  • 1 dishtowel to be used as a placemat
  • 1 Plastic Shoe Box
  • 1 box colored pencils
  • 1 box #2 pencils (not mechanical) **
  • 1 pair scissors **
  • 2 glue sticks – not Staples brand **
  • 1 Pink Pearl eraser (or Staedtler brand – it is excellent) **
  • 1 manual hand-held pencil sharpener (Staedtler brand preferred) **

    • Please bring these supplies to share with the community ( unlabeled) by September 10:

  • 12” ruler with inch and centimeter markings
  • 1 box #2 pencils (not-mechanical) **
  • 2 packs loose leaf wide ruled paper **
  • 1 ream plain white copy paper **
  • 1 box assorted plastic utensils **
  • 1 box facial tissues **
  • paper towels
  • large container antibacterial surface wipes

    • We are also gratefully accepting donations of:

  • Unscented hand sanitizer **
  • AA and D batteries
  • Hand broom and dustpan
  • A heavy duty electric pencil sharpener
  • 5 mil laminating sheets (thicker than large laminator; more effective for small materials)
  • knitting yarn, embroidery thread, large needles
  • calligraphy pens and ink
  • card stock (white or colored)

    • *Please send $2.50 in a sealed envelope labeled with your child’s name and “For Music Class” on the outside to purchase a Recorder.

    * Please note: Since we don’t have much room to store a whole lot of extra supplies in the classroom, a second supply list will be sent home for replenishment second semester.

    **These supplies were noted on the general supply list for upper elementary previously sent by list serve.
