Supplies specific to Ms. Venus’ class – please label with your name (these are in additional to General Upper El Supplies:
- 4 marble composition books (will need to be replenished through the year)
- 2 spiral bound graph paper notebooks (quadrille ruled)
- 1 box of colored pencils
- 1 compass (wheel-adjusted type preferred)
- 1 sketchpad
- 1 mini composition book (4.5” x 3.25” ruled) for spelling work
- 1 clear 15 quart Rubbermaid or Sterilite container with a lid (unless one from last year is still in useable condition) – can be found at Staples
- 1 3/5” floppy disk or USB thumb drive (unless you still have one from last year)
- disposable camera for notable class work – to be returned at the end of the year for developing
Community supplies requested per student
- cloth dishtowels
- sponges
- natural orange cleaner spray or refill bottle
- antibacterial soap
Optional donations for the class (only 1 will suffice for the whole class)
- iron (for crafts and botany pressings)
- AA and D batteries
- hand broom and dustpan
- box of assorted plastic wear (spoon, knives and forks)
- 5 mil laminating sheets (these are thicker than the large laminator and therefore more effective in preserving small materials)
- knitting yarn or embroidery thread
- simple percussion instruments: claves, Indian bells, triangle, wood block (with 2 pitches)
