Student Supplies

First Semester 2007*

 

                                     

 

Please have these individual supplies labeled with your name in school by September 10:

 

5 one subject spiral notebooks (not CVS brand)

 

1 two inch binder (exactly 2 inches, no trapper keepers please)

 

3 plastic portfolio folders with three prongs for holding loose leaf paper ** (one needs to be black)

 

1 water bottle**

 

1 dishtowel to be used as a placemat 

 

1 pencil pouch with 3 holes to be kept in the binder rings

 

1 hand held pencil sharpener to be kept in pencil pouch**

 

1 pair of scissors to be kept in pencil pouch**

 

1 kneaded eraser to be kept in pencil pouch**

 

1 sketch pad (optional)

 

1 clipboard (optional)

 

Please send $2.50 in a sealed envelope labeled with your child's name and "For Music Class" on the outside to purchase a Recorder. **

 

For the community supply (by September 10):

 

1 box of tissues**

 

1 large container of antibacterial surface wipes

 

2 packs of wide ruled loose leaf paper**

 

1 pack of copy paper**

 

1 bottle of unscented hand sanitizer

 

Plastic utensils**

 

2 glue sticks**

 

1 box of colored pencils**

 

1 ruler**

 

Gratefully accepting donations of:

 

A heavy duty electric pencil sharpener

 

Paper towels

 

Books on Native Americans, Early Humans, simple machines, animals, famous African Americans, Frederick County, cells, the Monera Kingdom (bacteria), viruses,

 

Card stock (white or colored)

 

Graph paper

 

*Please note: Since we don’t have very much room to store a whole lot of extra supplies in the classroom, a second supply list will be sent home in January for replenishment in the second semester.

**These supplies were noted on the general supply list for Upper Elementary that was published on the list serve over the summer.
